Features: Design Considerations: The Model 12667 has 48 inputs that may be routed 48 outputs. The system is comprised of six blocks of 3 ea. 8x16 matrices with their outputs cross strapped at the same output position. Since this is a "non-blocking" matrix, more than one output may be connected to the same input simultaneously without input loading and impedance mismatch. The characteristic impedance of the system is 50 ohms for R.F. or 75 ohms for Video. All the switch points are individually controllable, using the RS-232C/IEEE-488 interface. The control structure of the system allows up to 48 output points to be activated at the same time with input interlocking which means that no two inputs can be routed to the same output at the same time. This system is also equipped with the status feedback feature which allows the configuration of the crosspoints to be verified over the control bus.
